These work great and are always better than for aerospace applications.

There were seams on each side of the threads, likely due to the fact that this fitting is produced by casting without post-cast machining or forming of the threads. I got it to form a seal using thread sealant.

Q: Is the 1/8 AN840-4 hose nipple pipe thread a 1/8-27 for use with Facet fuel pump 60200?

The AN840-4 has 1/8" NPT and a 1/4" nipple fitting. It can be used on a Facet pump with 1/8-27 pipe thread.

Q: I am confused about the tube i.d. and the thread size on the chart for these AN840 hose nipple piped thread fittings. The hole I need to screw this fitting into is one half inch diameter. Which one of these do I need to order?

The "TUBE I.D." column is in reference to the rubber tube inside dimension to be used on that unit. These units have national pipe thread, which is a tapered thread, and not measured to identify the listed size, but if the hole has NPT threads, and is approx 1/2", then you most likely need a 1/4" NPT threaded unit. The AN840-6D is an aluminum fitting that has 1/4" NPT & would use a 3/8" I.D. rubber hose.
