This product is not good for me. I wanted a CO detector that would protect me and students. It shuts off every 15 minutes and it is ridiculous to have to keep turning it back on in flight. It is useless to me as a CFI.

Per the manufacturer, they do not calibrate this instrument. They said it is not needed. Customer can calibrate if they want, but it is not necessary.
Per the supplier: The Automatic Power Off is a built in feature and unfortunately it cannot be manually turned off. Our CO detector is not meant to be used as a monitor. In order to be used as a monitor, the unit needs to have consistent power supply. When power supply level drops, the value being detected will no longer be accurate. Our CO detector is designed as a handheld device and is operated by a battery, not a consistent AC power. Therefore we need to build in this APO to preserve battery life and ensure accurate readings.
Auto power off: After 15 minutes of inactivity.
