Overview

“SCEET” - “SCEET” type ducting has two plies of silicone rubber-im pregnated fiber glass, similar to SCAT except wire be tween plies. Ideal for use in conducting extremely cold or hot air at temperatures from -80° to over 550°F, and for conveying fumes. Not recommended for handling liquids or highly abrasive materials, or for negative pressure applications.

Sold in full length only - cannot be cut to size.

Features: Highly flexible and can be easily installed around obstructions and sharp bends. Has less friction loss than similar non-lined ducting.

Diameters not listed are available as a special order in full lengths only. Order CAT 2-3/4" diameter for Whisperflow air vents. Full factory lengths are up to 13 ft. Varies by warehouse. For lengths over 12 ft, contact sales to confirm availability.

  • “CAT” - “CAT” type flexible hot or cold air ducting is extremely lightweight and highly flexible. Short lengths can be joined together to form a continuous length. Made of a single ply black neoprene impregnated fiberglass with a spiral copper coated steel wire inside and wrapped with fiberglass cord on the outside. Suitable for conveying fumes and air a temperatures from -65° to over 350°F. Not recommended for handling liquids or highly abrasive materials, or for negative pressure applications.
