Overview

For #10 Screws. You know how frustrating it can be to remove a painted over screw only to wind up chipping up the paint job. But you wouldn’t have that problem if you had a set of these innovative paint cutters. They work by slicing through the paint around the head of the screw so you can remove it without chipping the paint. They have a 1/4x28 thread to fit into any angle drill or you can get the optional arbor (p/n 12-02460) for use in a drill chuck. Does not work on dome head rivets. 1 lbs (0.5Kg) shipping weight.

Screw Paint Cutter #10

July 15, 2024

This worked really great to cut the paint around the screws holding the fuel tank in my Piper Arrow. NOTE: You need this #10 to cut the paint around 8-32 screws!!!!! Do NOT buy a #8 for this! (Yeah I know that does not make any sense! I ordered the #8 and had to send it back and get the #10) Carl

Q: Can you confirm that the #8 size is for MS24694-8 machine screws? Carl L seems to question this. And what size should I order for the AN525-8 washer head screws on the propellor spinner? These have built in washer diameter 0.375 inches. Thanks!!

These paint cutters are designed for counter sunk screws. They are not to be used with protruding head screws like the an525.
