Might work better on parallel valve engines, but I couldnt get it to line up right on the valve stem on my angle valve IO-540-K1G5D. Maybe there should be some instructions with the tool.

The fixture itself is ok. Attaches with only one screw on angle valve cylinders, but good enough. The valve extension is included and makes this worth buying. Do not buy the gauge however. The one I received was defective, and took months to get a replacement. Meanwhile I purchased one for less than half the cost elsewhere, and it was better quality.

Q: It is described as a tool for parallel valve engines. However, there is a note saying: can be used on angle valve engines. Is this correct or should the note mean that it cannot be used on angle valve engines. Best regards Ole Petter Syvertsen

The note is correct. This tool is good for parallel valve and angle valve engines.

Q: How does the dial indicator attach? I already have a central dial indicator with another tool. Trying to decide if I need with or without dial indicator.

Per supplier: It depends on the position of the mounting lug and whether or not the lug is plastic or steel. The indicator is clamped by the lug on back of the indicator, so if it's a plastic lug, that could present a problem. It the orientation is wrong and the lug/backing plate can be rotated to the correct position, that can resolve one issue.

Q: Does the kit come with the adapter that attaches to the valve stem?

Per the supplier: Yes, it comes with the adapter that attaches to the valve stem.

Q: Does this include the valve extension?

This comes with the following: INDICATOR BASE | SPLIT GAUGE ROCKER BUSHING (2) | MOUNTING SCREWS
