Part# 11-18268
MFR Model# P-1450P

Overview

The D B Assembly, Inc. Aircraft Ramp Power Supply and Battery Charger "APU" series is a dual-purpose aircraft flight line service and maintenance tool. The unit has a filtered 14 volt DC power supply with up to 50 amperes capability for tests of aircraft electrical systems and a secondary mode for recharging run-down batteries.

The P-1450 series plugs directly into the aircraft APU connector and is tied to the electrical system when the master switch is activated.

This ramp or hangar accessory is an absolute must for avionics service, gear and flap actuator exercising and other electrical system service.

The battery charging mode is selectable by a front panel switch. The charging process is fully automatic. When the charge is in progress a red LED is illuminated. This is replaced by a green LED when the aircraft battery is fully charged. The on/off switch on the unit also resets the unit.

Q: The description of the unit indicates it is 14volt only, but the unit in the photo indicates 28 volt. Is it both?

No it is only 14V. The photo is a representative image of the series. If you order this item, it will be 14 volt.

Q: Is it a power supply plus a battery charger? That is what I want. What is the part number with Spruce for the combo 50 amp?

That would be part number 11-18258 for 14v 50amp.
