Note that this switch is much smaller than you would expect. The switch is actually smaller than the pictures size. I assumed that it was the same size as most PTT switches and it was unusable upon receipt

Q: What are the dimensions of the PTT 11-01899?

For part number 11-01899 the body of the switch is 1/4" wide, the height of the PTT with button is 5/8" and 1/2" without button and the hole size for the PTT is 5/32".

Q: Do these miniature momentary push button switches come with a nut?

Yes, the nut is included.

No, it does not.

Q: What size are the nut and washer for this? (I understand it’s included, but I need a replacement for mine which is missing the nut and washer and recessing into the hole.)

The data sheet calls for a 8-40 nut.

Q: The description indicates PC terminal and it looks as it is designed for a mating terminal? What kind of connector would you use on this switch and does Aircraft Spruce carry them?

This would require soldering the wire. There is no connector made for this.

Q: Are these required to be TSO certified, or can they only be used in experimental aircraft?

These switches are not certified on their own. They are commonly used in aircraft and may be approved as replacements under the airframe approval. It is always wise to consult with an A&P before installing any part on a certified aircraft.
