Replaced old small push to talk switches in the yoke. This is a great replacement option however, ensure you have enough space in the yoke as these are slightly wider and taller than others. Really nice feel and look. A real pilots PTT.

I have not installed it yet but it appears to be heavy duty. Its not cheap, I think this push to talk is going to go the distance. For those who may from time to time be a little heavy on the button push this one if for you! I cant wait to install it as I think it will be the last PTT I ever need to put in (after I purchase another one for the back seat as well). This switch is not for the tender trigger fingered, definite not going to press this one down by accident even if you are palming the stick and its on top. No need for a safety on this one )

Switch is excellent quality, but I decided 4 lb force was too high after trying it. I subsequently bought a 2.5 lb force version from another source since you dont offer it. Its much better as a GA PTT.

Excellent quality. Love that there is positive feedback when switch is pushed. It requires a bit more push than the old switch, but not bothersome. Wish the attachment had slightly larger screws and connectors. Instead, we soldered the wires to the two terminals.

This PTT is really high quality but way too large to install without modifying a standard yoke. I really wish this company would stock normal-sized PTTs. I know some planes are setup, but just beware that this will not fit a standard PA28/172 yoke. Spruce removed the old PTTs so now all that are left are these and sub-micro ones...

Perfect PTT switch for my application. Just the right pressure to activate & a positive feel engagement.

I decided to try these in my PA-38 because I use it for training and my students wear out other PTT switches quickly. They fit nicely and so far are working very well. They feel very solid and durable. The 4lb. pressure works out great since students tend to push hard on the switches.

Bought the switch when chasing a problem that turned out to be a bad wire not a faulty switch. But I like the feel of this one with the positive click and the larger style.

Product was what expected. One good reason I use Aircraft Spruce is the website is user friendly .

This is a high quality switch with an aluminum bezel. It takes a relatively good force to press. I understand the rating is a 4lb force to depress. It would be nice to have the option to purchase the 2lb force made by the same company.

Solidly built and should provide years of service. The switch trigger pressure at 4 lbs is greater than my old switch but I quickly adjusted to it. The switch also provides tactile feedback of a solid click when pressed.

Just installed it, did not need all the hardware but just used the boot that came with the old PTT. Much better quality than the old one, very solid. Ill be buying a second one soon.

Great Swicth for PTT. A little bit hard to push, but comfortable.

Works well, as expected/described. One note: These are screw-on terminals (although you could solder instead if you prefer), but if you are installing this into a straight diameter hole, the screw heads will hit the outside of the handgrip material - I had to bend the tabs into slightly to avoid this issue. Really, the terminals should have been placed another 1/16 of an inch more inside. But a little bending fixes the problem and the switch works fine. To activate the switch, I did not find the 4lbs force (versus 2 lbs force for other models) to be a problem (i.e. the force to activate is not too high).

Not the switch in thought I was ordering but made it work. It take positive effort to press. The click is positive. But as a PTT it’s too much. I’ll be searching for a replacement.

The switch is of good quality but much too large to fit into the yoke horn as a PTT.

The product is well made with one exception. Instead of simple slide on connectors it uses screws and lock washers that are so small they are difficult to hold, much less screw on. A 30 second job turned into a thirty minute job after dropping the screws a half dozen times trying to get them started. Whynot use slide on connectors? I pity anyone trying to install these while laying on their back under a panel.

Sorry I cant rate this switch. It is the one I thought I ordered but when I got it in the mail I found it doesnt have threads and lock nut. Not sure how to mount it. Wish I got the one shown in the picture😕
