This silicone rubber is excellent for replacement of baffle seals as it exceeds asbestos type seals in durability and flexibility over its entire operating heat range of -80 F to +425 F. Meets Mil Spec ZZR765B. ISR3 meets Mil Spec AMS3303(05-00790, 05-00806, 05-00806-3) AMS3320 for all other. Available in red, blue & black.

Repaired, primed, and painted baffling with epoxy white. Trimmed with blue silicone seal material. Looks great! The last silicone seal material lasted over 20 yrs. I expect this will last as long or longer.

Q: Does the Silicone 1/8 x 3 x 9 have the fiberglass cloth woven in?

Yes, Part # 05-00792 does have fiberglass reinforcement in the center of the silicone.

Q: Do the different colors, Red, Blue, Black have any different properties? Is one color more impervious to liquids than another? Are the different colors indicative of liquids?

No, they are the same material just a different color.

Q: what is the advantage of the fiberglass woven in?

It is more durable.
