Well made lighted instrument and Transmitter. When the instrument is powered up, it goes into test mode. The light goes on for a few seconds, and the needle swings its full motion then stops at the correct position to indicate the current position of your flaps. Three of the four terminals on the back of the instrument are marked for POS, NEG and S. The one marked S goes to the UL Flightline Flap Position Transmitter (the only wire on the transmitter). The unmarked terminal on the back of the instrument goes to the panel light dimmer. The transmitter mounting pad needed to be drilled for mounting , and I needed to cut the indicator arm to the right length to fit my application. The Transmitter is not exactly a plug and play unit, however I thought it, and the Indicator Gauge were well built at a very fair price. Ron
