This flap handle is a well built, durable, and cost effective alternative to the plain round standard flap toggle switch that exists in most aircraft. This unit is very easily installed without removal of the toggle or any rewiring. In addition, one very important consideration was that most toggle switches have a knob that “rotates.” Attaching a flap handle to this knob looks great, but we recognized that some people would want a knob that didn’t rotate. This led to design the anti rotation plate that limits knob rotation and also provides a nice labeling of the flap handle. To finish it off, the components are powdercoated and include all necessary installation hardware. (Black non metallic AN screws are provided to match the black set screws.
. NOTE:Anti rotation plate is 1.75 Wide by 1” High. |

Very nice well built switch cover. The instructions are well written. The installation is straight forward. The flap switch with this cover installed is very identifiable as the flap actuator. I will say the price is high. Just remember one thing on the installation install the switch based on the width and height of the anti rotational cover. It takes a little more room on the front of the panel.
Solid piece of equipment. Intuitive switch feel for FLAPS. Easy to install, well made.
Very nice item! It is robust and good-looking, and has a certain military appearance to it. The photos shown above (especially the one with the clecoes sticking out of the holes) do not do the assembly justice. Note: It is important to follow the supplied instructions carefully, so that the flap handle will fit down inside the baseplate correctly. Also note that the attachment nut for the switch is UNDERNEATH the plate, not on top of it.
Nice product but a little pricey for what it is.

Per the supplier: It is neither. It is designed to fit over a standard toggle switch. So a customer can purchase any standard size toggle switch they choose and then use this over it.
No. This is made for experimental / homebuilt aircraft only.
