11042 Piper Type Plug
Looks cool....How it works: This is designed to be connected to a set of battery cables. You push a button pull out the center and crimp a hot wire. Push back in and crimp a negative cable to the body. BUT You could hang a hot wire from the center down about 6 or so. Then clamp car jumpers cables to the hot wire and black to the body. This would be a cheap way to make a backup plug.

top quality, delivery service = exelent ordered on Thursday, delivered on Monday - USA to Germany 👍👍👍
Super fast service from Aircraft Spruce! My order was correct and shipping was really fast even by using the standard shipping. I still ha e to finish setting this up but the part is durable and as advertised. Great Service.
Used it for the first time yesterday and worked great. It could use some instructions on which is the positive and negative.
Haven’t used yet, but note that what you see is what yiu get - a bare plug without any hot to ground wires. Those much be procured elsewhere and installed (crimped) onto the unit’s bare terminals.

Bought this for my plane to practice on the ground with power. The part showed up by itself, no instructions on how to set it up. Assuming that it works, the price is not bad. Some instruction would really help.

Yes the exterior clamp is for the negative and the positive is held in with a set screw. It should fit the port on your aircraft provided you have this type of receptacle.
