You were only issued one set of ears. Why not protect your children’s hearing too? Pilot USA was the first to design an aviation headset specifically for children. The key to proper fitting for a child's headset is that it doesn't hang on their head. Proper fitting equals comfort. The Cadet headset utilizes a smaller headband and a smaller version of our SuperCushion Headpad. The full flexible microphone boom is also shorter than an adult sized headset boom. This allows for proper placement of the noise canceling microphone. Keep them entertained (and quiet) by letting them connect to their music device of choice (CD player, iPod, MP3 players, tablet and laptop computers, etc). As the child gets older, you can upgrade their headset’s headband to a proper size free of charge by calling Pilot USA directly at 1-888-GO-PILOT and ordering a larger headband. This headset model has 1 Red ear cup and 1 Blue ear cup for a fun and patriotic headset your child will love! |

Pilot Youth Headset Boy
I’m not sure if I like the color but my daughter finds them comfortable to wear and the sound for her tablet works great.
Pilot Youth Headset Boy
My grandsons love them. The headsets fit better than the normal headsets and having the 3.5 extra plugin for other devices is a big bonus.
Called to see if it was in stock in the east store to be shipped that day. Very pleasant reception. Delivery very quick. (Product box not padded well inside shipping box but no problem.) Headset looks well made and classy. Size fit 7 year old at just above smallest adjustment so will last a while. Impressed by clarity of ear pieces and I couldn’t tell any difference in mic when compared to two DC sets on intercom. Good sound protection - important because grandson has sensitive ears. All in all - a good decision.
I have two boys and once they learned to talk this increased their enjoyment of flying exponentially. They enjoyed hearing the sound of their voice over the intercom and we enjoyed being able to communicate with them. We used them from about age 20 months and up.
These are great. My 3 year old wouldn't keep my old headset on because it didn't fit well. No problems with this one. He sits in the back in his carseat and even keeps them on in his sleep. Just ordered a second pair for my 21 month old son.
