fine wing tip, just didnt match forward notch for lights on my 2006 172S
K2U Cessna 172 - 206 Left Wing Tip
Replaced the 50 year old plastic wing tips with the new fiberglass wing tips, wing tips look and work great. Also installed the Whelen LED nav lights at the same time. I needed to build up a flat spot to install the LED lights, good thing Fiberglass is easier to modify and repair than the plastic.
Worked like a charm, perfect fit and match and far more affordable than the manufacturer part. Service, shipping, and everything from Aircraft Spruce was first rate.
Unfortunately the incorrect item was shipped, resulting in my having to return the wingtip to you I did an additional search and found the correct wing tip from another source. I was very specific on the serial Number and year of the Cessna 172 I was working on, but unfortunately the wrong tip was shipped - it was the tip used on much newer aircraft than the 1965 172 - the newer aircraft have a different wing profile. I called and did get authorization to return it and a good follow up from you people.

Yes, these come unpainted. Any finishing work must be done by the installer.
There is a location to mount the lights, but not drilled, and no nutserts installed.
