Connect this borescope to your computer or tablet (optional, sold separately) with attached USB cable to perform a detailed visual inspection in hard-to-reach areas. The 180-degree articulating 8.5mm diameter probe offers a panoramic view of the area being inspected. With 1M pixel CMOS sensor, and six built-in LEDs for illumination, this product allows you to view images, take standard photos, and record videos. This borescope is designed for the inspection of the carbon residue inside of cylinder especially the surface of the intake valve. It is perfect for 'looking backside' after the scope goes into a narrow space.

I second all the 5 star reviews--this is a great product. However, there was an issue with the camera turning its self off for no apparent reason while I was doing an inspection. It got so bad that I couldnt even get it into the cylinder with out to turning off. I contacted Oasis Scientific customer support and they immediately got back to me with this: We find that dry and cold weather, and carpeted floors will cause the camera to shut down at a trade show. We usually spray a little bit of water around the area to greatly reduce the incident. Well, I am in a cold dry hangar and happen to have some carpet scraps on the floor. I attached a small ground wire between the engine and the scope which solved the problem without the need to, spray water around. Ha! Bruce E
