Looking for a set like these to fit in my MSA Gallet LH250 helmet...will these fit. Thank you. :--)
5 stars if they didnt cost so much, and if the synthetic leather didnt start peeling after a couple years. Been using for 20+ years. With fabric covers they are unbeatable, regardless of the cost. Expect 5 years of good use, with covers. Will definitely buy again, even if the price was to go up.
Compared to the original Bose A20 earcups, these have more room for your ears, but have less surface area against your head, which felt like it exerted more pressure. They started hurting my head after an hour or so. They are also a bit noisier. Ultimately, they are less comfortable and more expensive than the Bose brand ear-cups, although I think theyll last longer.
These are not as soft or as form fitting as the Bose replacement cushions. Regardless of eyeglasses use or not they do not reduce sound as well either.
Oregon Aero Softseal Bose Cush
The fit was much more comfortable and accommodates glasses better but noise level was actually higher than with OEM seals. This was in a high noise cockpit. Might work better in a quieter environment.
The parts received did not fit my Bose A10 headset. They looked like they were for a David Clark. I returned them for credit.

No, part # 11-08680 will not work for the Bose A20 they are recommended for the Bose aviation X headset.
