Tried this set, unfortunately the Rosen mounting setup, though high quality, places the stowed visor at eye level. Original Commander design has a designed curve to the visor brace placing it higher (out of the pilots vision) when stowed. At 62 I would have to bend my neck to look underneath the visor in the stowed position. Too bad, really a quality kit. Spoke to Rosen about it, deaf ear . . .

No, this will not require any modifications it should be able to screw into the existing hole without any issues.
