Q: Can I install and use the GD-40 in my Piper Saratoga?

No, these units are not FAA Approved for installation in certified aircraft.

Q: Dont see this mentioned in the specs, but is the alert signal active low or high? In other words, my EFIS has discrete inputs that look for a line to ground in order to activate the warning.

The discrete output is active low.

Q: Will the Flight Data System GD-40 integrate with Dynon SkyView?

Yes, this unit will be able to function within the Dynon Skyview.

Q: Is this unit compatible with the Garmin G3X? Are there any other components required for a full install?

Per the manufacturer, it is compatible. It requires wiring to the display.
