New screws are always awesome to install! work perfectly!
👍
Bottom line is that I am so glad that I ordered new fasteners for the interior of my plane. As I sat down to order them (this review applies to all of the fasters) I learned that very few of the screws in the plane (installed by previous owner) were the proper screws per the parts manual (which called for cadmium plated screws.) Parts arrived quickly with excellent packaging. The mechanic said he appreciated them and they really made it easier to put everything back together.
No Problems
Perfect fit as expected
These are the high quality we have come to expect from Aircraft Spruce
On time & accurate as usual.
Not what was pictured above. The screw was wrong size and the wrong length. I put in the size in search and what was on picture was small length 1/4 “ 1/2 was sent. Cant use very disappointed and spent $3.64 for nothing.

Yes, a 10-32 thread would be considered fine thread, 10-24 is a coarse thread.
Part number MS35206-243 is made of CAD plated steel, and is magnetic. We do not have any ins stock, but we can try to special order AN515B8-6, which is the previous spec to this MS style screw, but made of brass and not magnetic. Please advise how many you need so we can try to locate them for you.
It appears that stainless steel is not an option available per the data sheet. This is only available in carbon steel with either a cadmium plating or a zinc coating.
Yes see part # 04-01357.
The milspec comes up as 10-24 UNC-2A.
