Excellent product. Goes on great! My order was missing the catalyst, but one call and it was sent my way. Great CS Aircraft Spruce!
FYI I was told that Reno Gold is the only color Ooly Fiber has that uses a powdered pigment. I received a bag of powder and a qt kit of clear. After talking with Consolidated Coatings they said to mix the whole bag, about 130grams, and shake for at least five minutes. Worked great, love the color.
Prompt shippings. Good color match.
Timely delivery
Easy application
I ordered this product and they sent the wrong item (poly tone instead) so I called the sales desk and talked to Caroline. It turned out to be a very confusing set of circumstances and was beginning to take a bit of my time to resolve and she was unable to get a supervisor involved in a timely manner, so she made a battlefield decision and told me to just keep the quart they sent and she would send me another the next day - which she did. Excellent customer service. Everyone makes mistakes, she took the bull by the horns and did the right thing to correct this one.
When I placed the order, I asked that the U865 not be included. I already have a huge supply and saw no need for any additional. Ive done that in the past with no problems. Youve simply deducted the price of the catalyst and shipped the paint sans catalyst. This time, however, after several days and after I finally called to see why my order had not shipped, I was told that there is no provision to ship only the paint and no catalyst. They come together as a kit. That made no sense at all to me because suppose I already had the paint and needed only the catalyst which happens occasionally. What then do I do, throw away the very expensive paint and order a kit just so I can get the catalyst? I dont think so. And then, if I hadnt called, when were you going to tell me you had a problem. As it is you cost me a week. In the mean time Im having to decide what to tell my customer. In your favor, you did send the paint overnight which saved me almost another week when you allow for the weekend. Thank you for that. Ive done business with A/S since the days of Flo, Jims mom. For the most part, youve done a good job. It just seems as though the group of people that interface with the customer is lacking common sense. Someone should have said hey, the guy wants paint and no catalyst, ship him the paint and well sort out the catalyst thing later. Anyhow, Im just saying, Regards Al.
