Reviews

Stratoflex 156 hose is a bit different than Aeroquip 601 hose in that Stratoflex fittings for the hose use an additional separate ferrule and have an O-ring. Oddly when I contacted Stratoflex tech support to ask for a fitting installation process they dont publish one for liability reasons as opposed to Aeroquip whose process is in the Aircraft Spruce catalog! All Stratoflex would tell me is to go to AC43.13 but that only shows the Aeroquip 601 kind of hose fitting configuration. Bottom line is I winged it installing the Stratoflex fittings trying to follow the 601 process and it seemed to work but havent pressure tested it yet...

Q: Is Stratoflex 156 equivalent to Aeroquip 601 hose? Are Aeroquip 816 fitting compatible with Stratoflex 156? Thanks...

The Aeroquip 601 and Stratoflex 156 are equivalent to each other, but we can only recommend to use like manufacturer fittings and hose when making an assembly.
