The towbar I ordered was the perfect solution for my needs. I placed the order and picked it up the next day.
This new towbar replaced the one that was in the plane when I bought it. The old one was not a good fit and damaged the front nose wheel pant. The new towbar is a perfect fit and makes the task of moving my plane much easier.
As adverstised and exactly what I needed. My only complaint is it took nearly 3 months to get to me...due to back orders. Still very happy with Aircraft Spruce and the product.
Excellent product at a good price.
Good price for a quality built product.
Often found myself needing a towbar when I landed my seneca out in the middle of nowhere airports. This towbar looks like it wouldnt hold on because the spring is kind of weak, but the physics of the design works. Nice, light, affordable, portable towbar that you can wrap up in a blanket and keep in the nose baggage compartment. Worth the money
Great product works excellent saved me quite a bit flying into new airports with tight spots

I purchased this towbar because of its overall length and low cost, not knowing if it would fit my application and expecting to have to make modifications. To my surprise it fit my Aviation Products tailwheel perfectly. The attach points have an inside diameter of 0.850 which fit the 3/4 head bolt/nut on my tailwheel exactly. My only complaint was that the handle section fit inside the fork section was extremely loose. Although it doesnt affect the function it does make the quality seem poor as the pieces just kind of flop around. I machined two thin wall bushings (.850 OD x .750 ID) and installed into the receiving tube of the fork. Now the two pieces go together snugly and the bar feels much more sturdy. Very happy overall.

It is made for 1-1/8 inch axles so the cup ID would be a little larger than that.
Per the supplier: We are not sure if this will work on the Lance. That towbar connects at the axle. So you would need to check how your old towbar connects to the aircraft. If it connects to the axle and is 1-1/8” axle then yes this will work. Most Cherokee aircraft have a plate with holes that the towbar goes into the holes. That towbar looks like a pitch fork bent down.
