Bought this item to ream AN386 3-14 taper pin for RV-7A nose gear modification. I experience the same problem that others have reported on the forums. This just doesnt seem to cut at all even though I was careful to use plenty of cutting fluid and not abuse the tool. It never produced a single shaving despite various pressure and hand-turning techniques. Not sure if spruce got a bad batch or just needs to get another supplier. There are other manufacturers for Brown and Sharpe style tapers for half the price. This one gets 1 star.

I did not use the tool because it will be too large for my application. (I am returning it.)
