Permits flexible routing of cable harness while forming a neat, protective bundle. It twists on easily and quickly and allows lead-outs at any point. When installed, it may be gapped for greater economy and flexibility or it may be butted tightly for maximum abrasion resistance, insulation protection and greater rigidity. Nylon type-for use in wider temperature ranges with high resistance to abrasion and good solvent resistance. |

Spiral Wrap 1/4 Natural PA6
I dont know how another customer could have made such a negative post regarding spiral wrap, especially if it was PFTE (Teflon), which I have found to be of excellent performance and withstands engine compartment heat year after year, with no degradation whatsoever
Great service, fast shipping. I would definitely buy from Aircraft Spruce again and/recommend this company. Thanks!
Spiral wrap tubing works great for bundling wires in the cockpit, along the floor and behind the panel. Makes for easy organization of wires. Highly recommended.
service was fast and will be ordering again, thanks
Product was as ordered. Seeing the size gave me insight as to what I needed to order next time.
Low cost way to add safety reserve to your airplane. These eliminate chafing concerns and provide a removable way to neatly bundle wires without ty-wraps or lacing. They can also protect fuel and vacuum lines. I was able to install some one-handed without undue difficulty in a hard to access area.
Product is great, but the size chart shown is mis-leading. The max. diameter is not the diameter of the wire bundle, but something else.
Started using it on panel upgrades instead of wires. Gives the final product a more professional look
All of the Spiral Wrap Wire Protector Ive bought from Aircraft Spruce has proven to be useful and effective both (i) to bundle wires and (ii) to protect wires, cables and tubing (in particular, tubing that is part of our engine mount) from abrasion. HOWEVER, it is very difficult to order as the catalog (neither online or paper) DOES NOT STATE whether the provided dimension is the Inside Diameter or the Outside Diameter. In addition, while PE is defined as Polyethylene and NY is defined as Nylon, the stated materials are: PE-FR, PTFE, and PA6. While Im guessing FR means Fire Resistant and that PTFE is some form of Teflon, that is not stated in the catalog. And I have no idea what PA6 stands for. But for the above-described issues with the catalog, this product deserves a 5 star rating.

Unfortunately no, this product is not FAA approved for an over heat condition.
The 3/4", our p/n 11-12334, is approx. .550".
Temp range is -4*F to +176*F. There are different ratings depending on specific part number you choose.
You would want the 1/4 one.
The 1/2 OD has an .37 id, that would probably be the best option.
