Recently purchased this radio. Comes with a Basic Manual but recommend downloading the Full Manual from ICOM. Also the radios VOX was set to transmit automatically over the air even if I was just talking with a passenger using the intercom. Heard hot mike several times. The Full Manual shows the steps on setting VOX to off.
Excellent product .Would buy again for sure .

Icom A25C VHF Air Band Transceiver 110V Communication Only
Just purchased the A25c . Audio is far superior to my other radio with my old A-20 headset , all that you need is a PTT . Everything else is included . Great radio !
Bought the ICOM A25C for my husband. He is very pleased, and the radio is very clear. Thank you to Spruce aircraft for their helpful advice.
A great radio that is easy to use. I was pleasantly surprised to find the charger is multi-voltage as I will be using the radio in 110V and 240V countries. It was also a surprise to find a separate battery pack for AA batteries included.

The A25C is comm only, meaning that it is for communication only does not have NAV features. The A25N is a NAV/COM, meaning that it has communication and VOR navigation built in.
If the headset is a dual GA headset, it will work with the included headset adapter.
The manufacturer does not recommend using this while it is charging.
The voltage of the charger. 110v is the standard in North America. 220v is used in Europe.
There is not an included AA battery case, however, one is available as an option, 11-16396. That takes 6 AA batteries, however, no specific data is available regarding lithium vs alkaline for the tray.
