Whelen Orion 6502Re 28V Embedded Pta Red
Far superior than factory strobes on my 1997 M20J
Whelen Orion 6502Re 28V Embedded Pta Red
Bought this one before form you guys. Worked great, but I had a little incident so had to replace it.
A little spendy but by far the best Nav lights available. The strobes are incredibly bright. Much brighter than the 650 non-embedded version.

Per the supplier: the mentioned assemblies do not require any external power supply as they are self contained. Also, the Whelen cable kits that we sell would not work for these lights as they are 16 gauge shielded wires. These assemblies are DC current and require no shielding as well as smaller gauge wire. We would recommend that they get standard aircraft cable which does not need to be shielded.
Yes, all Orion series lights have a sync wire attached. Simply attach all sync wires together and they will all flash at the same time.
All white LED's flash, the only steady burning ones are the red/green.
These lights are priced and sold separately.
Per the manufacturer, these will use 20 awg wire.
Yes, the strobe can be wired on separate switch as each wire has separate power.
The footprint would be the same but the wiring would need to be changed. The 650E does not require the power supply that the 610 strobe needed so you would have remove it or wire around it.
Yes we offer led taillights. Customers commonly pair these wingtips with the OR5001V / OR5002V tail.
They would need to be rewired bypassing the power supply.
