The bulbs work and are dimmable per the description, but two of three bulbs I first ordered didnt work. I contacted customer service and they sent me two more bulbs free of charge (they worked fine).
Bi-Polar Mini LED Red T3-1/4
These are great replacement bulbs, and they dim!
Bi-Polar Mini LED Red T3-1/4
These were an excellent LED replacement for our stock instrument panel bulbs, and they are dimmable. Work and look great.
The comment about the plastic rim is a fair point. Other than that, these bulbs are great. No electrical noise from them in my audio system (sometimes LED drop in replacements apparently cause that). The bulb material itself is rugged and grips better than glass, in case you have to be creative with your fingertips and/or needlenose pliers for bulbs that go in awkward, hard to reach places. Or so Ive heard...
These are great replacement bulbs for the incandescent bulbs. I gave it a 2 star because of the 9 bulbs I purchased, only three fit my military press-to-test indicators. The remaining 6 had to be turned down on a lathe to fit the holder. Cause: There is a white ring between the metal base and the plastic dome. This ring is too large a diameter to fit the holder. After reducing the diameter to that of the dome itself, all the bulbs fit and functioned fine.
Very, very dim.... pretty much useless
Very Dim, I thought by using an LED light in the cabin it would be brighter. The original regular bulb is 5 times brighter!
Very dim. About 1/4 the light output compared to the incandescent. Not useable as instrument lights.
I was replacing my instrument lighting. There are a total of 10 red bulbs under the instrument panel sun visor. These led bulbs are not bright enough to light up my panel. Totally unusable.
