Q: What color LED? What is the color temperature and intensity(ft-cd or Lumen) value? How much area will it illuminate? Thanks

Per the manufacturer, this LED light is white in color. 5500 K temp. Low power, covers approximately 1 ft = 12" wide area.

Q: Are these lights exactly 12VDC or can they be powered by 16VDC?

We asked the manufacturer on this one. They did not have an exact definitive answer. Here was their reply:
"They're made to work on 12 to 14.8 Volts DC. That's the normal range of voltage found on most "12 Volt" systems - like cars, trucks, aircraft, etc...If the customer has a 16VDC power source, it will work but may shorten the life of the LEDs. It's hard to say by how much - it depends on the particular system."

Q: Are these lights FAA PMA approved?

No, these lights are not FAA Approved and are intended for use in experimental aircraft only.
