Unfortunately, I flew this headset for about 10 minutes before the mic went completely dead. Fortunately, I still had my old headset on board and was able to make it back to home base airport. Testing on the ground with engine running and not, the mic continued to be inop. Both my old headsets worked fine. My intercom is a 3-month old Sigtronics, also from Spruce. Customer service has allowed me to return the defective headset, and has sent me a replacement, which I have not flown yet.
