Raychem's Solder Sleeve one-step, heat-shrinkable wire and cable interconnection devices are a labor saving alternative to conventional wire and cable termination methods such as craft-sensitive, time-consuming, hand soldering or crimping. The one-step terminators create strong, soldered connections. They consist of a heat-shrinkable sleeve and a premeasured, fluxed solder band. When heated, the tubing shrinks and the solder melts, making reliable, insulated terminations. M83519/1 Series. |

I use these a lot! A tad bit more trouble to use that the crimp kind but way more secure & nest looking too. Sometime I’ll slide a heat shrink sleeve over when I’m done just for extra peace of mind.
great help for soldering the pigtail to the shielded cable
I am building an experimental. Just found these little sleeves and I think a great invention to assist in wiring the headphone jacks. adding the pigtails for grounding the tefzel shield
They work great, but do take quite a bit of heat to get the solder to melt.
Very necessary and they work but way too expensive

For the .125" solder sleeve we recommend 24GA - 22GA wire.
No, see part number 11-12363 for solder sleeve with pigtail.
The part numbers 11-04481 or 11-04482 will work
