Q: Re: P/N 11-03960, is this gauge temperature compensated? There's another gauge that specifically states it's NOT temperature compensated, but none of the rest state that they are.

Per the supplier: No, it is not temperature compensated.

Q: Can the Falcon Gauge Dual 2-1/4 Cylinder Head Temperature 100-700 F gauge be used on a Lycoming 0235-L2C?

Per Falcon, the gauge will work on a Lycoming 0235-L2C. Also per Falcon, the difference in temperature is negligible as the gauge is not temperature compensated.

Q: Does this gauge come with the 2 sender units that go on the spark plugs, if so how long are the wire leads?

No. CHT senders are not included with this instrument. See the accessories tab for sender options.

Q: What kind or type of thermocouple does this instrument use? (J, K or E)

This gauge uses type J thermocouple wire.

Q: Is this Swift CHT gauge illuminated?

No, this gauge is not lit.

Q: You show a 14mm, and 18mm sender. What does this mean, and which one for this CHT gage?

These senders install under a spark plug. 14 and 18 are the plug thread diameters. You would need to check your plugs to see which sender you would need.

Q: Is this gauge in Fahrenheit

Yes, it is.

Q: Is this gauge illuminated?

No, this is an un-lit gauge.

Q: Will this gauge work with a Rotax 912 and the VDO sensors?

No, swift use different connectors and K type cht probes. CHT probes from VDO are J type.

Q: Can you use k type thermocouples with this gauge?

The majority of CHT probes use "J" type wire and EGT use "K" type.
