NULITEs are a revolutionary lighting system for aircraft instruments. They give the same lighting appearance as internal lighting kits at a fraction of the cost. NULITEs have a special bezel that focus light toward the instrument, preventing light from reflecting into the pilot’s eyes. When sandwiched between the instrument and panel, NULITEs reduce glare and “hotspots” by concentrating 60% of the light on the upper half of the instrument. Will not work with DC to AC inverted systems INSTALLATION MADE EASY No special tools or equipment are required. NULITEs can be installed by anyone in just a few minutes; a simple log book entry is made by any certified pilot or mechanic. NULITEs are wired into any existing dimming system without the need for extra circuits, inverters, or remote boxes. FAA-PMA APPROVED |

Great
Nulite Inst Light LW3014 14V
These backlights make night flying much safer! My panel looks like a new airplane, and it was easy to install! Love it!
Nulite Inst Light LW3014 14V
THIS WORKS GREAT AND IS JUST WHAT I WANTED TO MATCH THE OTHERS I ALREADY INSTALLED
These helped my old panel so much. They are worlds better than the post lighting in old Cessnas. They are relatively easy for an A&P to install, although time consuming. 6 lights added .65 amps at 12v at max brightness, so I feel good about the electrical load. I saw a few reviews about poor lighting of the bottom of the instrument. I can see where they are coming from, but it’s not an issue for me. Also, I saw a couple reviews about how it recessed the instrument, making it slightly harder to read. I’m tall and this hasn’t been an issue either. I notice a difference, but not a problem. I definitely recommend these lights to upgrade your old panel lighting.
I just installed these in my 1971 Cessna 210. It had very poor flood lights before, and these made a huge difference. They dim well with the other lights draw almost no current. I had experience with them in Diamond DA20’s and was happy with them there.
FIt perfectly between the instrument and the back of the panel. Electrical hookup was easy peesy one wire to ground, one to power (rheostat in my case). Id buy these again in a heart beat!
I have these on all my round instruments. I modified the right cutout for an altimeter so I could put the lights on the right side instead of the top to make clearance for another instrument. A dremel makes short work of grinding down the plastic and a bit of gloss white and flat black paint make it look as though it came from the factory.
Love the Nulite system. Have it for all of my instruments. This was a replacement as one failed. I know there is a lifetime warranty, not sure if that apples as I had to ream out the opening for the altimeter. Overall, very happy with the lights!
Why didnt I lose my post lights earlier? Sooo much better. A bit longer installation than I though, but worth it.

The Nulite was designed to go behind the panel due to its shape and to avoid having the electrical wire exposed. It is not recommended to mount in front of the panel.
The bezels are .200". It is countersunk in the back and actually sits into the panel so it moves the instrument back approximately 1/8 of an inch.
maximum of 125 ma. with an average load of around 80 ma
These are used around the instruments on the panel to illuminate the display for night time operation.
The shape of the VSI is different than the other gauges. Take a look at the photo for part # 10-05363 on our website. You can see that the bottom left corner of the VSI is larger than the other corners. The VSI and the altimeter are the two instruments that have a unique shape.
No, see part number 11-13932 for LED options.
Each Nulite weighs approximately 0.04 lbs.
These lights are white.
Cutting the Nulite system is possible, but the manufacturer warranty is voided when custom modifications are made tot he unit.
