Q: The probe is pictured with a red/yellow thermocouple lead. Its that included? How log is the lead?

Yes, it is included. Lead length is 10 feet.

Q: Is this for a JPI 700?

Yes. This will work with the EDM 700.

Q: The EDM 790 is made for twin engine aircraft (4 or 6 cylinders). So why does it only come with 4 or 6 probes? Shouldnt it come with 8 or 12? Or that what each means in the price?

4 or 6 means cylinders of each engine. The unit comes with the correct number of probes for each engine 8 or 12 respectively.
