Q: Is there a mounting kit?

No, a mounting kit is not included.

Q: Can this be shortened for a 4 inch deep tank?

The minimum the probe can be cut back is 50% of the original length of the probe. For a 4" deep tank, you will need to order part # 10-04344 and cut to desired length using tube cutters.

Q: Is there an STC on this Westach sender?

No, all Westach equipment is intended for use in experimental aircraft only.

Q: What is the diameter of the top? Also what are the spacing of the holes for the mounting screws that’s sit across from one another?

Diameter is 2.65 and the holes are 2.21 across.

Q: Why does it say it works with 24V power at 28V Max in the description but in the Q&A you say no?

Per the Manufacturer at Westach P/N 10-00798 can be used for 12 or 24v.

Q: What guage are the wires?

18-20 gauge is recommended by the manufacturer.
