I have used every brand of glue for fabric as in Ceconite, PolyTak and even (Stewarts the worst). Superflite U500 is much easier to work with and lays out better.

Per Vendor: "On the metal airframe, prior to attaching the fabric, the glue needs to be mixed 2:1 2 parts glue to 1 part acetone. Apply two coats of this glue to the frame and let it dry completely. Then position the fabric and use a mixture of 1:2 (1 part glue to 2 parts acetone) to reactivate the glue on the frame and get the fabric to stick. This same 1:2 mixture should be used for attaching the tapes as well."
It is green.
