this is a great pump for my lawn tractor but AS should have adapter fittings on the same page. 5/16 fittings are no good for lawn equipment.

Purchased this unit to replace Polaris 4x4 2011 ranger fuel pumps. I have replaced the ranger fuel pumps 4 times in less than a year. They have no built in regulation. I gave this unit a 4 rating - its only been operating for 6 days. So far so good. Check back next July (2018).

Just had a new one of these, number 60304, go bad after three hours. Initial installation was good and the pump was a solid unit - passed all tests. Installed with good pre-filter, at tank-bottom level so no lift issues, fresh gas running a 70:1 Blue Max mix on fresh 93 octane 10& ethanol. Not sure exactly when the pump quit. It still sounds like it is running, with the characteristic clicking sound, but fuel is barely creeping up the fuel line and output might be a few tablespoons per hour. Discovered on a motor swap and final flow/pressure test of the fuel system. Will install a fuel pressure gauge to monitor the replacement.

There is a pulsing almost a clicking sound coming from the pump causing my amp meter to fluctuate when I get a chance I will check the install but I think it is a pump problem.
