An essential part whenever using Newton caps which work very well. Newton patiently refuses to communicate with end users ....tried for 3 months. That is frustrating but they do communicate very well with Spruce and Spruce folks are very effective and willing to be the end user conduit for product information. Dont even try to get to Newton directly....a waste of time. Got exactly what I needed with the help of Amy at Spruce.
Newton A300 Cap O-Ring Kit
Perfect! Be careful when removing the lock cylinder that the wafers and springs dont all jump out.
Newton A300 Cap O-Ring Kit
was not the correct kit but what I ordered
Newton A300 Cap O-Ring Kit
The kit seems to be complete and arrived quickly. I also ordered a fuel cap as a spare which was stolen from my rural mailbox. Will review the replacement when I get it.
I have a cirrus SR22 and about once every 2-3 years I need to buy this kit to rebuild the fuel caps. It’s well worth it. No instructions are included but it’s considered part of the FAAs preventative maintenance So owners can do it.
Needs an instruction sheet. If you dont leave your key in the lock cylinder, you will lose the microscopic springs and the order of the tumblers. Otherwise, the right parts to stop your fuel leaks!
