Weighted to keep pickup in tank bottom where it belongs. Has check valve to prevent fuel drainback. Couldn't fly without it! Larry, don't let old fuel sit in the system and stop using ethanol fuel it will gum up everything.
This filter does a good job as a pre-filter (before my inline fuel filter) to keep my walbro clean on my paramotor. I replace it every year and have yet had an engine out while flying.
Well, I just spent the last month trying to figure out why my Parmotor had a huge drop in power. The last thing I checked was my in-tank fuel filter. This thing has a check-ball in it that stuck part way open, which caused only so much fuel to get through. I'd have to take back my previous review and drop it down to 1 star....I don't need my fuel level getting shut off by a check ball mid flight...that would be ugly.
