Common high grade commercial fastener.

Obviously, except for being made of corrosion resistant steel as opposed to whatever grade the cad plated ones are made of, these commercial grade nuts appear to be identical to the AN version. I understand that it is not good practice to use stainless nuts with stainless bolts, but since I rarely install stainless bolts I think Ill start using more stainless stop nuts where appropriate

Quality commercial grade SS stop nuts. Aircraft Spruce beats the pricing of local home improvement and hardware stores, hands down!

absolutely do not use these nuts with stainless steel bolts... the nylon is so tite that they lock up as the bolt goes through it/ the result is literally breaking the bolt to get it off the nut. ended up taking a large amount of time to get them off

Q: What grade of stainless steel are these stop nuts?

These are made from 18-8 stainless steel.

Q: whats the difference between the 364-440 and 365-440 nuts??

365 are standard. 364 are low profile.

Q: What is the difference between 04-01502 (which is a 364-632 SS low profile) and a MS21083C06 Low profile Nyloc)...I see one is called commercial and one certified...is that the only difference?...I have both the commercial which has white Nyloc and the MS21083C06 has green Nyloc.

The commercial hardware does not have certs, other than that they are basically the same.

Q: I am needing a 10-32 STOP NUT with a 5/16” drive or 0.312” hex. What is the drive size of the nuts Part # 04-01505 and # 04-01498? What is the difference between these two nuts?

Both 04-01498 and 04-01505 are a 3/8 drive. 04-01498/AN364 and 04-01505/AN365. AN365 is taller and AN364 is shorter.
