These screws will save grief and hundreds of dollars over fighting rusty originals, and will retain their strength.
Came as described. Needs an option for the long range tanks or at least a note telling you to order two kits if you have the big tanks
Just what I wanted A++++
Better than factory new!
Screws were sorted and the correct length to install standard wing tank.
Ordered these screws for my 1968 Piper Cherokee. These appear to be an exact replacement for my existing screws which were worn out/stripped. One thing that I noticed is if not applying ample pressure during installation the phillips head could get malformed/stripped just like my original screws. NOTE: The UPS delivery guy accidentally shipped product to my neighbor and I did not get my package right away. Aircraft Spruce made it right and promptly shipped another order free of charge. Thanks Guys for acting so quickly and resolving the issue!
Fits perfectly. Just note that the structural fuel tank screw kit only provided enough screws for one tank. To do both sides you will not another kit
They appear to be an exact replacement for my old corroded screws. Great service and fast shipping from Spruce as usual. I looked before ordering and the Spruce information said the kits were sold by the tank. I needed to replace both tanks so I ordered 2 sets. I was shipped enough screws for 4 tanks. I returned the excess and got a credit but was out the return shipping cost. Im not sure who was wrong, the website or shipping department. Suggest you check before ordering.
Purchased for a cessna 150. Note. This kit is for ONE tank, and does not include the screws that go around the filler neck. So for 30 sum odd bucks you get a handful of tank cover screws. The cad plated ones lasted 40 years, so thats what will go back on there next time. And do the kit yourself from the parts manual and actually get what you need.
I have ordered two kits for two different 150s with the same result. The number of screws may be correct, however the type of screw is not. The end result is you end up using old screws or ordering more.
