West System 105 Epoxy Resin is a clear, light amber, low-viscosity liquid epoxy resin formulated specifically to wet out and bond with wood, fiberglass and a variety of metals. Multiple coats of a 105 Epoxy Resin create a superior moisture barrier and a tough, stable base for paints and varnishes. 105 Epoxy Resin is formulated without volatile solvents and does not shrink after curing. It has a relatively high flash point and no strong solvent odor, making it safer to work with than polyester or vinylester resins. With roller application, it possesses thin-film characteristics such as excellent flow out and the ability to self-level without fish-eyeing. It cures clear and when altered with available additives can be easily sanded and shaped. |
