Q: What material is this bushing stock?

It is 1020 steel.

Q: The dimensions listed must be off. 3/8 id + .065 wall = .44 od (not .5). What are the correct dimensions?

The website is correct and we measured our stock. When doing the math you have to double the wall because you will lose .065 on both sides of the "ID."
