600-6 4 Ply Rtm Retread Monster 11/32Nds
Ive been using Monster retreads on our single engine flight school & aerial imagery aircraft for over 15 years. On the flight school Warriors they usually last for around 400hrs with lots of touch & goes - the aerial imagery they generally last 2 years & 1200-1600hrs. Yes they do develop cracking in the tread grooves around the circumference of the tire - no Ive never had a tire fail or tread separation in 120,000hrs of operations - its a non issue although it does seem to freak plenty of mechanics out.
Premature cracking of the tire around the circumference between the center section in the grooves. Had to replace the tire well before the tire was worn out. Other main gear tire is still good it appears the tire rubber has rotted and cracked
