Aeroshell Fluid 31 is a synthetic hydrocarbon hydraulic fluid with greatly improved fire resistance characteristics when compared with conventional petroleum products. This fluid contains a specially developed base stock that provides a relatively high flash point, excellent low temperature properties, and good oxidation and thermal stability. In addition, additives are incorporated to further enhance stability and lubricity.

AeroShell Fluid 31 Gallon
Excellent product, doesnt stink or get gummy like regular 5606, also has a much higher boiling and flash point which is a nice feature for useage in brake systems.
The 1 gallon can without a resealable lid is ridiculous. Maybe that’s the way the big shops use it? It gets messy when you transfer it no matter what. I also found that it was very caustic to my skin compared to 5606. I’m sure it’s in the warning label. Wear gloves!
AeroShell Fluid 31 Gallon
It gets an F on packaging. Lightweight metal container has no spout, handle, or cap. It must be opened with a can opener (anyone still own one of those?) and cannot be resealed. How much smell and mess do you think storing an opened can of hydraulic fluid makes? Id rather pay a buck more and get a decent container.
