The Flap Transmitter is a spring loaded cable potentiometer. The cable clamp system is designed to clamp around a flap cable or tube. When the flaps are deployed the cable is pulled out and the voltage from the transmitter is calibrated to the charged flap positions. For use with Analog Flaps.
NOTES: This part is required if the aircraft has no electrical feedback to tell the Alpha Systems AOA the position of the flaps such as: Switches for each flap setting or an analog voltage representing flap voltage. Additional paperwork may be required for install in a certified aircraft. |
