We have used the Gill 7035-28 in our C182 for who knows how long. We always had hesitation turning the engine over. So we decided to try the 7035-34. It made a huge difference...turning over the engine immediately for a reliable start. Thank you.
Gill 7035-34 Super Capacity Battery
Battery was fully charged and started the plane right up!
Gill 7035-34 Super Capacity Battery
Battery was packaged very well. So far, so good. Cranks the engine rapidly, even on hot restarts, making it easier started. I have previously been a Concorde user, but decided to try a Gill given it was immediately available and lower cost than the Concordes. I will update this if there are any issues.
Gill 7035-34 Super Capacity Battery
worth the extra money
Gill 7035-34 Super Capacity Battery
This is the hottest airplane battery I have ever had, fixed all my problems with a 30 minute install!
This battery is perfect for my Musketeer Supper III. Fits in the battery box and supplies plenty of power.
Service was great. Thanks
The Gill battery exceeded expectations great ergonomics with installation handle, hardware for either stud or bold terminal attachments for battery cables. I tested the battery right out of the box and extremely low resistance with 12.71 volts 100% capacity and 810 CCA. these results are with no pre charge top off.
I upgraded from the -29 to the -35. The -28 lasted me 5 years before any issues. Im sure the issues stemmed from letting the battery set for 10 months with not trickle charge or use. I called Gill and asked their advice on a correct trickle charger and what I should expect out of their batteries. In reality they told me what I already knew, Use It and Use It Hard,,Maintain the correct voltage. We have had one for 3 years in the shop in Louisiana that we constantly moved from airplane to airplane and loaned out. It was used when we got it, a client insisted on a new battery during the annual. I left that shop two years ago and they are still using it.
Excellent quality. The built in handle worked great. I will buy again but hopefully it will be a few years.
