Whelen quality (yeah, you do pay for it) throughout. Clear and sturdy, and it pops right in: perfect fit! Ah, the convenience of interchangable parts... Lesson learned: mask the retaining ring screw threads before painting the aircraft, or it will take you about half an hour just to clean the paint out of the threads so you can remove the screw.

Reasonably priced and happy to get rid of made my old faded yellowed and crazed lens. This was used on a Whelen strobe on the tail of a Cessna 172E. Looks great and significantly brighter now with new lens!
