CAUTION! For this mounting system to work you MUST purchase the REQUIRED HARDWARE that is ONLY mention in the G5 installation manual. IMHO, the finished product looks good, BUT requires lots of work to get it there. CAUTION! This type of recessed mount with NOT fit all panels (sa. Commander 114) Ask me how I know. :)

Aircraft Spruce assumes no responsibility or liability for any issue or problem which may arise from any repair, modification or other work done from this knowledge base. Q: Will the flush mount kit work in either vertical or horizontal orientation? Also, if the spacing is wrong, can you just cut it apart and mount separately? Like if existing instrument holes don’t match spacing on this mount.

Yes, these can be used with the instruments in either horizontal or vertical stack. Vertical stack is the most common install. The installer will need to determine the legality of additional cuts required to the panel.

Q: Is there any installation documentation available for this part?

This would be included in the installation manual for the G5.
