Frequency • 1575.42 MHz 26.5dB Gain 118 - 137 MHz VHF

The design that started a revolution in multifunction antennas for general aviation. Combines both GPS and VHF Com functions in a single footprint. Same 4-hole mounting configuration as our popular CI 121 VHF and CI 420 GPS antennas. Separate connectors for GPS and VHF, GPS is protected from VHF harmonics with our exclusive built-in 80dB harmonic suppression filter.

The CI 2480-200 GPS function is designed for use with popular panel mount GPS systems that require 26.5dB gain. The CI 2480-200 is standard equipment on many aircraft OEMs including Cessna, Mooney and Piper. Note: Comant Antennas no longer come with a gasket or template. Must order PN 09-05579 separately.

Reviews

I had a new Garmin GNC 355 installed in piper Comanche with the CI-2480-200 antenna. It gets satellite signals on the ground but in flight I get LOI warning and loose my gps during the flight. Then sometimes during landing phase it comes online again. Is this something you have come across? I have been trouble shooting with avionics shop that originally installed with no luck. Very frustrating. I’m wondering if it could just be a bad antenna.
