Perfect replacement for a stock throttle knob on a 1957 C-172. Very happy.
OK, I have a confession to make, and it is something you should pay attention to when you order this part. I ordered this for my Cessna 170 throttle cable. My old cable had the 1/4 x 28 threads. For some reason the new cable had 1/4 x 20 threads and I did not know this. Pay attention to the published thread size on this knob and the threads on whatever cable you are ordering for your aircraft. I was able to re-tap this with the courser 1/4 x 20 threads and it worked just fine! The knob is a perfect replication of the old original Throttle door knobs of the Cessna 170 series of airplanes. Love it.
